You do not need to be a climate scientist or a politician to act for the planet. Everyone can take climate action. The most important thing is to understand that climate action is urgent: it is better to act than not to act. Learning to recognise the scale of our actions is important as well: how big or small the impact of each action is on the amount of emissions.
The Climate Workout focuses on the biggest sources of emissions in everyday life in Finland: energy consumption in homes, food, transport and the consumption of goods and services.
You are allowed to enjoy life also during the climate crisis. Living a meaningful life increases your motivation to work for a better future. Do not make living a climate-friendly life too difficult for yourself. When it comes to climate action, focus on quality instead of quantity!
+ Social advocacy: as individuals, our opportunities are limited, but as part of the climate movement, we can make a bigger difference! Being active in the climate movement is not only important for the climate, but also a great way to channel your climate anxiety into something positive.
